We have been informed today by Intrahealth, that they are having to cancel the planned flu vaccinations on Tuesday 2nd October 2019. Please see their correspondence below:
'The immunisation team have arranged to visit your school on Tuesday 2nd October. We have been in conversation with both the manufacturers and delivery companies in connection with the children’s flu vaccinations and they have informed us that there is currently a delay in us receiving the immunisations.
This, unfortunately, means that we will be unable to visit your school on the date planned as the vaccinations will not have arrived with the team by the time your appointment was arranged. This decision has not been taken lightly, as an immunisation team we pride ourselves on being reliable, as we understand that schools can be very busy and sometimes struggle to change at short notice.
We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused to your staff and parents however the issue is completely out of our control'.
As soon as have further information about when the vaccinations will take place, we will let parents know.
