We've had a busy last week at school. On Friday 12th July, the Friends organised the Summer Fair. it was a lovely afternoon, the sun shone and the Fair was very well attended. We raised over £1116! Thank you to everyone who supported the event.
On Wednesday morning, the Year 6 pupils hosted the rest of KS1 and 2 for a sports morning. All the children were in mixed age teams, linked to their dojo teams and took part in super fun games, organised by the Year 6s. It was great fun! The overall winning team on the day were Kay, but the real winners were Oak class for the wonderful way they ran the morning.
The Year 6s also featured in 'SuperStan' a fantastic production performed on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. It was very well supported by family and friends. The show was truly brilliant- what talented children we have in Year 6!
Peel won the overall dojo-team points tally this half term and enjoyed their VIP playtime on Thursday morning. Thursday also saw the final of Christ Church Has Talent. The event was organised by Miss Bell and the School Council. After watching some fabulous acts from every class, the winners were Fletcher and Aidan from Larch class- they were a comedy act! Well done boys!
Finally, we have said farewell to our Year 6 pupils today, following a very moving Leavers' Service at Christ Church. They have been a fantastic cohort, bringing so much to our school family. We wish them all the very best for their futures as they move on to High School.
