Welcome to Christ Church CE Primary School in Walshaw. We provide a warm and welcoming beginning to your child's education, offering support and kindness throughout their primary school journey. We are proud of our school, our children and their success. We believe that Christ Church is a very special place where children enjoy their education and make excellent progress.

Christ Church is a vibrant, happy school that enables children to grow into confident, considerate and talented individuals. We are committed both to providing a high standard of education, developing the whole child, working alongside our community and also to sharing the Christian faith whilst recognising the cultural backgrounds of all our children..

Our recent Ofsted Inspection (November 2022) confirmed that "Pupils are proud to attend Christ Church and parents speak very positively about the school. Leaders and staff know their pupils and families well."

It's the quality of relationships in this school, the way all staff work as a team and the way children treat one another that makes it such a success. This is recognised by stakeholders as being at the heart of this school's work,  supporting pupils' learning and fostering an understanding of putting our values into action.
